Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Automa processes, why that processing happens, and the controls available to you.
Effective date: May 14, 2026
This document is a product policy disclosure and not legal advice to any user.
What we collect
We process account identity, resume files, user profile fields, job preferences, application run telemetry, and support communications. We also process browser-session and device metadata needed for secure product operation.
Why we process data
We process data to authenticate users, generate and submit applications you request, maintain run history, detect abuse, troubleshoot failures, and provide support. We do not sell personal information.
How data is shared
Data is shared with infrastructure and service providers strictly to operate the product (for example storage, authentication, billing, and execution infrastructure), or when required by law. We may share limited data when you explicitly trigger integrations or outbound workflows.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and workflow records as needed for product continuity, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and support. You can request deletion of account-associated data; some records may be retained where required by law or legitimate security obligations.
Security notice
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No system is guaranteed to be completely secure, and you are responsible for securing your device, credentials, and connected accounts.
Your controls
You can update profile data, credentials, and saved preferences in product settings. For privacy and deletion requests, contact legal@automa.app from your account email so we can verify ownership.
International processing
By using Automa, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in jurisdictions different from where you live. Where required, we rely on available contractual and technical safeguards.
Policy updates
We may update this policy at any time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy. Material changes may be surfaced in product or by account email.
